Ibon Merino

Ibon began his poker career in college. He played quite frequently, but after leaving school he didn't have much time for it. About a year ago he decided to return to the game he loved, playing holdem for fun. More recently he has decided that the game can still be fun while playing it for serious stakes. He is optimistic about his abilities in the highly competitive world of poker. While he typically plays NL50, he has previously played from NL5 to NL200. He has chosen to stick with the NL50 games to hone his skills before competition.

This move into more serious poker play is not random for Ibon. He joined a tourney on FTP for fun and when he won the $800 jackpot without taking it seriously Ibon decided he should see how far he could get with an actual methodical play style.

We look forward to seeing what this instinctual player can do at the next tournament.
